It’s Time for Tuesday’s Talkabout! Blogs, Creations, $20 Gift Drawing and More!

Tuesday's Talkabout - where we show what were all dabbling, babbling and gabbying in! Hello again!  We are so excited about this week’s Tuesday’s Talkabout – we have a great customer blog to feature, plus we’ve been busy adding lots of new items this week – so grab your favorite relaxing drink, and let’s get started!  Also, be sure o follow our blog on the right so you don’t miss a thing!

This week’s Customer Creation is by Cindy M.  Do you recognize Moda’s Maypole Fabric from several years ago?  This is one of our exclusive kits, and it looks like Cindy is ready to get this baby quilted.  Also, if you look up, you can see another of Cindy’s creations on the wall.  Looks like she is a busy little quilter.  Thank you for sharing, Cindy!

Next, we finally decided on this week’s Customer Blog.  It has been so fun to see what so many of you are up to, and rather than just picking our favorite, we are now just deciding randomly.  We continue to receive links to your blogs, so please keep them coming!   And .. all the way from Italy, we are featuring this lovely blog by Chiara.  http://lafabbricadelleidee-chiara.blogspot.it/   Loving those pincushions!

Julie’s Creation

Now, Julie, a key member on our Creative Team, is always busy making, creating, or just thinking of something.  This week I am happy to show you one of my favorites that she’s done (OK .. had to be somewhat random with this, too, as I love everything she does!).   Don’t you just love Robyn Pandolph’s fabrics?  This is such a soft quilt, and it was much easier to make than it looks (Julie always finds quicker and easier short-cuts than the patterns call for!).  Thank you Julie — I know we have lots more to see!

Homespun Hearth Haps — Did I mention we’ve been crazy busy lately?  Well, we found what might be called a ‘junk’ drawer (OK, not junk!), full of goodies that never made it online!  So many fun things have been added, but my favorite are the Hand Made Clay Buttons.   But, I want to know what is your favorite item that we’ve added.  So, let us know in the comments section, which of the New Items is your favorite, and next Tuesday we will have a quick drawing, and one of you will win a $20 Gift Certificate!

Giveway – Earn your Chance!  We are still taking entries for our 2013 5th Annual Give Away!  Every day there are little things you can do to keep adding to your chances to win.  I’m thinking that just about every one of us could use $250 in fabrics, or kits, or notions … and, there are additional great prizes, too!

We thank you for joining us this week.  Don’t forget to look at all of the newest items, and let us know which is your favorite.  You could win a $20 Gift Certificate!

  1. If this is where one leaves “How They Give Back” – this is what I do: Each year I donate at least one quilt to a not-for-profit group to raise money. This year’s recipient is Indiana DAR Juniors.
Previous recipients have been Montana DAR and National Juniors DAR. This year I also gave a quilt to a fellow citizen who is waiting on a Kidney transplant in the NW. She chose to keep her quilt!

  2. I love your pictures of the quilts and would love to win the certificate of different fabrics for our church group. We make the quilts and donate them to the children’s unit at the hospital and the cancer unit at the hospital .We are a small group of ladies trying to do a good cause .
